Amazing sky!

Picture by me, sky by God!

God does amazing things with the sky. Where I live I have to drive down the side of a huge hill to go to the city and I get blessed with many incredible sunsets.

Lovely picture that breathes, speaks and sings. The Title awaits a book or movie.

I wish that was me walking along that beach! Beautiful pic
September 21, 2012 at 11:59 pm
There were a surprising number of people on the beach that morning. It was 5 am … you wouldn’t think it would be so busy. I was the only one with a camera, though. Which was also kind of surprising. It was beautiful. I got more amazing pictures that one sunrise than I normally get in a month of shooting.

You certainly did very well – it’s a wonderful pic
September 22, 2012 at 1:50 am
Thank you. I really did get lucky that morning.

Nothing more serene that a walk on the beach – sunrise or sunset! Beautiful!
September 21, 2012 at 10:11 pm
Thanks Except for several million starving mosquitoes. I apparently looked a lot like a buffet brunch.
September 21, 2012 at 10:14 pm
You would have to blow that scent right out of the water! Anyway, I have plenty of repellent:>)

You really blew that scene out of the water! Anyway, I am prepared. . .I have LOTS of repellent! hahaha
September 21, 2012 at 10:17 pm
I am a mosquito magnet. If there are 25 people on the beach at dawn, they will all decide to eat ME. Do NOT tell me it’s because I’m so sweet. The only time it’s better is if Garry is with me. Then they all decide he is yummier. Not surprisingly, he virtually bathes in insect repellent.

Marilyn, where was this picture taken? Would like to Scoop.it.

Scoop away
Ogunquit Beach, Sunrise, late September, Maine.

that sunset is captured very well
September 21, 2012 at 10:10 pm
Thanks. It’s actually sunrise, but they look exactly the same. You just have to get up earlier for sunrise.
September 21, 2012 at 10:13 pm
sunrises are often better.
September 22, 2012 at 12:00 am
Yes, they last longer than sunsets, at least in this latitude. And they are more dependably beautiful. Since we are on the east coast, sunsets are harder to come by than sunrises. Seems logical, anyhow.
