I cannot imagine how a film could be more enjoyable than combining Rian Johnson’s unique scripts, Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s incredible talent, and Bruce Willis’ fu…

The reviews on this keep coming in for “Looper” and they are all good! It’s been a long time since an intelligent time travel movie hit the big screen. The last really good one was Crichton’s “Timeline,” … a long dry spell.

  1. I saw Looper this weekend with a friend. I thought the plot was original, the science fiction believable and the direction excellent. The ending was well conceived and kept a complete surprise. The plot was complex and slow to develop but if you stuck with it all became clear by the end. Masterful!

  2. I guess Gordon-Levitt is the new “go to guy” after the most recent “Bat Man” movie. We’ll see. I’m still in restraints, sedation and withdrawal after the advance word and “sneak peek” of the new “The Lone Ranger” flick.

      • Don’t believe I’ve ever seen “Timeline”.., should I look for it on DVD..? And as far as the New LR flick not sure I want a peek no matter how sneaky..?

        • It’s pretty good especially if you like medieval history. Time travel to the 14th century and it follows the book pretty closely. If you haven’t read the book, you probably would like that too. Worth a couple of hours of time. Not that made decent time travel stories on film or even in books.
