It’s not entirely sunshine and flowers, but between patches of blue skies, I see a few shafts of sunshine and lots of puffy clouds. While the meteorological community continues to predict rain and high wind, it seems to be clearing here. I sometimes wonder if they look out the window, just to make sure they don’t sound really dumb. Maybe they don’t have windows.
It is supposed to get wintry cold by the end of the week and I could be happier about that.
Meanwhile, there are still some leaves clinging optimistically to otherwise naked trees. Autumn ended yesterday, though we may have a few days grace remaining.
Mind you, the sun is coming and going and patches of clouds move rapidly across the sky. There must be quite a bit of wind up high because the clouds are moving fast. It would be a great day for sky watching … you can see the world in the clouds.

As you started this week I can’t help believe God spared your area. Looking at the track of the storm it appeared to deliberately avoid Uxbridge. The storm made a giant “U” right around your area. Praise God! You have been truly blessed.

I know. It actually missed the entire state, RI and Massachusetts. It just went around us. A small miracle for which we are grateful.

Stay safe, this is a huge storm. We are so blessed that we were only without power for a few hours and that was from 2 am until about 9 am. Still raining, but wind is gone.
We hear on the news that the storm may reach the midwest.

We were in a weird bubble where the storm simply didn’t go … almost the ONLY place in the region that didn’t get much of the storm. Most of our friends and family have not been so lucky. But all are okay, albeit without power. No one is underwater, no one flattened by a tree, so eventually all will be well. It will take a bit of time.

Yea!!! Blue sky’s again. Yes, clouds are fun to watch and I could spend a whole day watching them…ours are thick with clouds and rain. Windy and cold here and we could see a flurry of that white stuff too. Glad you are out of the woods with Sandy.

We were really very lucky. I’m sure we’ll get some more rain and maybe even a bit more wind, but most of the storm has passed us by, Unless it comes back … never impossible, but unlikely … there will more more storms, but for now, all is quiet.
