I had to read your text twice because initially I thought you wrote,
“Only some people go shopping on the Friday for Thanksgiving…”. LOL

I don’t think I have ever gone shopping on the Friday after Thanksgiving unless it was a quick trip to the supermarket. Then again, I’m not much of a shopper anymore. It’s been a lot of years since I had money to shop with or needed much I could get at the mall. If I need something, I usually order it online. We don’t have many place to shop here. Walmart is my go-to place for underwear and I’ve noticed that even that they seem to have managed to get the brand name with a substantially lower quality than the same brand anywhere else … so it’s now officially my “desparation” store. Otherwise, online, usually Amazon or a couple of other places like Lands’s End or Tiger Direct. Better prices, bigger selection, higher quality, hassle free customer service and free delivery.

I needed that laugh:>) You could have said ” Only CRAZY people go shopping on the Friday after Thanksgiving … all the sane ones eat leftovers.”

I believe I have NEVER shopped the day after Thanksgiving. And now, with the internet … and no money … Pass. Leftovers? Still eating them!!

Still a lot of leftovers to go and it’s now Saturday. The pies are disappearing fast!!

Too late. The pies have disappeared. Gone! We weren’t fast enough. With two teenage girls in the house, they never stood a chance.
