I absolutely love the pictures.

Thanks
I had all these holiday pictures (I have so many more too!) and I figured that they’d be kind of old in less than a week, so I should post them while they make sense. Glad you enjoyed them. I had fun taking them!

I am currently working on my year end awards. I will definitely have them up Sunday, so you should stop by for another tasty treat for Serendipity.

Truly, my cup runnneth over, or is that a puddle left by a sodden dog just come in from our slushy, icy front yard? We have puddles all over the place … sometimes with lumps of melting ice. Tis the season to be jolly! I’ll drop by soon. I’m finally out of the thicket of holiday brambles.

Here the cat keeps his wet paws on the front porch. Snow and cold has not convinced him to come in but to take refuge in a pet house on the porch. Drop by for a helping of Christmas lyrics that I have penned.

The little dogs don’t like the ice and slush, but our Australian Shepherd is in his element when the weather is bad. The worse it is, the better he likes it! Love your Christmas song. Just need a simple little melody with the right peppy beat.

Thanks. It’s been my hobby for more than 40 years. It started with shooting baby pix of the kid who’s 43 and HIS kid, my granddaughter and I go shooting together (no bullets required
Great hobby, you know? You’re never too old to take pictures, never so busy that you can’t sneak in a few shots. It’s a hobby that goes the distance. I’m just about to post some more. Woke up too early, so I figured I might as well catch some of that sunrise through the trees and a hint of yesterday’s dusting of snow.

Oh how beautiful! Haven’t seen snow since I was a child (you have to find some very high mountains in Australia during the middle of the year to locate any). Happy shooting and I look forward to the new ‘shots’

Last winter, we had virtually no snow, though the year before was the most snow of any winter on record. So far, this year, we’ve had a few dustings. They are getting snow in the midwest and in New York, but so far, not here. I love the way it looks … but I can do without the icy walks and collapsing roofs!!

I used to love tobogganing (spelling?) down the hills at my grandmother’s farm and her making ice cream with the buckets of icicles we’d collect. Ahhh those were the days

When I was a kid, I loved the snow. Then I grew up … and I still liked it. The years lurched on and icy damp and cold and my arthritis had a head-on collision. Now, I love it for about an hour. Maybe two. But it is so very pretty.

It is, indeed. No denying it
