Yup, that’s snow all right, something I haven’t seen in over a year now. We’ve had a snowless Winter thus far in Portland, OR. I jokingly say that I’me surprised you didn’t straighten out the leaning telephone pole along the road. You can do magic with CS5.
January 25, 2013 at 2:57 pm
It was crooked. I kind of liked it leaning like that. No two poles were standing at the same angle. We’re talking deep countryside here. They are lucky if they get the potholes filled much less the poles straightened

On farmland, depending on the prevailing wind direction, the DOT puts braces on telephone pols already leaning away from the wind. Less wind resistance, less chance of it falling all the way.

About a year ago, all our poles were replaced by taller, stronger ones, but they didn’t take down the old ones, so next to each tall, straight pole, we have a short old crooked one. Eventually, if this continues, we’ll have tall fences along the road made up of all the new and old poles.

Nominating you for The Liebster Award
January 25, 2013 at 11:28 am
I sent you an email about this. Liebster is intended for new bloggers who haven’t got many followers. I cannot tell a lie. I have quite a few
I love the award, but someone fresher to the scene would be more appropriate. Thank y ou so much for following me and being so much fun and so responsive! You make blogging fun!

That’s ok…I have it on good authority that it’s sometimes a ‘loose’ rule
January 25, 2013 at 5:26 pm
At least you didn’t write “lose”! I graciously accept. No knee jerk rejectionist rule following here, by golly!
January 25, 2013 at 5:27 pm
I can if you want me to! I can also write ‘u 2′ instead of ‘you too’ if it tickles your fancy

Nice to know we can all speak “illiteracy.”

Well, it behooves us to keep up with this ever-changing world of ours, doesn’t it? lol
January 25, 2013 at 5:40 pm
Yes. I have a granddaughter who speaks “internet,” and I always need a translator.
January 25, 2013 at 5:42 pm
Oooh I think I’ve graduated from ‘Internet Speak’ School by now! Wasting so many hours in World of Warcraft is most educational

That was my teepee firepit. A great place to be on a cold winter’s night. I miss my teepee.
