Spring officially starts tomorrow, but today, it snowed. Then it rained.
Then … it snowed some more.
Everything is melting, the beautiful white snow of a few weeks ago now reduced to gray lumps mixed with dirt, gravel, old cigarette butts.

Say no to snow!

I don’t miss snow.

I’m sure I wouldn’t either!

See what happens and i cant sleep and I start following blog comments down the rabbit hole. A buddy of mine is a tech writer doing a music magazine on the side so I could sort of relate to some of your posts.

It seems I cannot escape technical writing … I keep winding up doing more of it. Maybe I don’t really want to escape. I want to fix the manuals of the world.

It was about time….On the other hand I would so much like to feel that cold, freshly mented water in the back of my hand ( no not in my boots), and the refrigerator’s ice is no equal!

It’s just so beautiful when it’s new … and so gray and rather sad as it melts. But never fear, more snow tomorrow. I need flowers!! Spring blossoms, birds. I wouldn’t even mind a few bees! Warm weather and sunshine, oh please, bring it ON.

I understand, I know that you liked some of the flowers I took photos of last week in the Turnbull Canyon Natural preserve, But yes wild flowers after a winter that lasted as long as two, it is a treat in Spring! I remember spring in four seasons, from a place and a time now long passed!
Cheers,
George.

We don’t get much of a spring around here usually … but maybe … there are flowers under the ice and snow … maybe.

There gotta be some snowdrops, at least, somewhere around there: post a photo when you find them showing their shy, but persistent bows to the world!
