Melting Ice. Spring Tomorrow.

Spring officially starts tomorrow, but today, it snowed. Then it rained.

Then … it snowed some more.

Everything is melting, the beautiful white snow of a few weeks ago now reduced to gray lumps mixed with dirt, gravel, old cigarette butts.

  1. Say no to snow!

  2. It was about time….On the other hand I would so much like to feel that cold, freshly mented water in the back of my hand ( no not in my boots), and the refrigerator’s ice is no equal! :)

    • It’s just so beautiful when it’s new … and so gray and rather sad as it melts. But never fear, more snow tomorrow. I need flowers!! Spring blossoms, birds. I wouldn’t even mind a few bees! Warm weather and sunshine, oh please, bring it ON.

      • I understand, I know that you liked some of the flowers I took photos of last week in the Turnbull Canyon Natural preserve, But yes wild flowers after a winter that lasted as long as two, it is a treat in Spring! I remember spring in four seasons, from a place and a time now long passed!

        Cheers,

        George.
