Today we drove down the Pike to Needham. About 45 miles. No question about it, the trees are beginning to turn. It’s early yet. With a couple of exceptions, Autumn is merely hinting at foliage to come.
These are my woods and garden today. In another week, there will be real color. Or so we fondly hope.

This happens to me regularly. One day I murmur to myself … “I wonder what happened to …” and discover I’ve un-followed someone. But I didn’t. They just got disengaged. It’s a glitch. I think. Nice to see you again 🙂

Thanks :-). The leaves are now really turning very quickly. It’s just 48 hours … but the change is dramatic. I’ll have to get out again today or tomorrow. This is such a fleeting season!

The leaves here have barely started- I have noticed on the top of a few trees a change, but that’s it! Maybe when it starts they will go quickly.

Today we have no water, so it’s been a day of waiting for the well guy to get here. Hopefully it’s not serious and tomorrow I’ll be able to get out and take some pictures. Hopefully!!
