SUMMER’S END

72-Yellow_04

Today we drove down the Pike to Needham. About 45 miles. No question about it, the trees are beginning to turn. It’s early yet. With a couple of exceptions, Autumn is merely hinting at foliage to come.

These are my woods and garden today. In another week, there will be real color. Or so we fondly hope.

  1. Lovely green to yellow shots. I actually still have my AC running, but I’m kind of a wuss. 🙂

  2. Enjoy it *for* me since we’re not going to see much fall color *ever* in north Texas. Unless you count beige as a color. 😉

  3. Happy fall to you both! I hadn’t seen your posts in my reader for a while and just looked you up only to discover that it showed I was no longer following you. 😦 I didn’t un-follow you, so I’m not sure how that happened–perhaps a glitch in the WordPress matrix! Have a great day!

    • This happens to me regularly. One day I murmur to myself … “I wonder what happened to …” and discover I’ve un-followed someone. But I didn’t. They just got disengaged. It’s a glitch. I think. Nice to see you again 🙂
