Spring has well and truly sprung. A month ago, it was winter. Now, it’s summer. Air-conditioning and all. Oh, and did I mention the pollen? The pollen is in hyper-drive. Everything is coated in green, from the cars to the windows. Everyone is sneezing. Runny eyes. Coughs. Congestion.
That’s way spring arrives in New England. It seems like it will never come … then it bursts, full bore and everything blooms at the same time.
Today was so beautiful. A perfect spring day with just the beginnings of leaves on the trees.

And your photos are gorgeous. We are into autumn but the days have been quite warm for this time of the year so it is hard to know how to dress – someone called them banana days – we have to peel off our clothes. With the wind we still have problems with pollen too. I sneezed all the way home yesterday.

Banana days. A perfect description. We do a lot of layering because the weather around here is always volatile, worst in the spring and late autumn. I keep thinking I’ll get used to it, but I think the two universal sports in this region are politics, and complaining about the weather.

Marilyn, it looks so beautiful there. Hope the pollen doesn’t last too long.
We had a few warm days and now we had to turn on the furnace again.
At least it isn’t snowing.

We are probably going to get everyone’s cold weather in a couple of days. It is already much cooler today than it was yesterday, so perhaps it’s already here. But you know? It’s the weather.

I am sitting here and just turned the heater on. I was freezing. We have a cold front for 2 days, 45F today in the morning. Back into the 80’s by Friday. Crazy weather, more like April. Great pictures.

I had the AC on the last days, and now the heater runs…that’s when people get sick.

Looks lovely!
We’ve got the usual yo-yoing Spring temperatures here. Single figures driving to work in the morning, then mid-teens by the afternoon. it’s hard to know what to wear!
(That’s roughly 48F – 64F.)

We had it yo-yo-ing for about 6 weeks, then it does what it does around here: it got hot and probably will stay pretty hot and humid. For a while. Maybe all summer. Until the end of August when it suddenly cools down and it’s Autumn. Our weather is predictably unpredictable.
