Weekly Photo Challenge: The Sign Says Don’t Forget

My first entry. This is definitely a sign of the times. But what times?

Author: Garry Armstrong

As a reporter for Channel 7 in Boston for 31 years, I was witness to most of the major events affecting the region. I met a lot of people ... politicians, actors, moguls, criminals and many regular folks caught up in extraordinary situations. Sometimes, I write about the people I've met and places I've been. Sometimes, I write about life, my family, my dogs and me. Or what might otherwise be called Life.

  1. If I saw that sign in a store I frequented I would not only boycott the product but I’d have a conversation with store management explaining why I wouldn’t shop at that store again until the sign and product were removed from their shelves, period.

        1. Oh. Well, it was a very rough neighborhood. That was mild and I doubt the storeowner had anything to do with it. Probably a gang marking. There were a lot of gang markings all over the area.

  2. The entire photo looks like a composed piece of art! Like the Header Too!

AND YAY!! I got my computer back! Only 1200 emails behind..no pressure………How do you do it?

    1. 1200? That sounds like a mass delete to me! That wall was weird. That’s exactly how it looked. I took pictures of it too but Garry’s came out better.

    1. It’s such an urban thing. I miss it. Sometimes I just have to get a “city” fix, feel the grit under my feet, smell that sooty air. Maybe it’s because I grew up in the city.
