Heated. Within the glow of a fire all gather. Night. In the teepee, it’s so warm from the fire. Despite snow falling outside, the flaps are wide open or the teepee becomes too hot for comfort.
Conversation is cool. The fire is hot enough for everyone. In fact, conversation is languid, soft, gentle and sleepy. It’s so warm and the snow keeps falling.

Some are better than others. They were taken using a variety of cameras. That first one is “posterized” using Photoshop. It’s one of the older pictures. I wish I had the original because I’d love to redo it.

I know but thats why I liked it. We have debated over processing but it was great !

Actually, I differentiate between special effects — posterizing, for example — and processing, especially HDR when overused. I use HDR. I think most of us do to some extent. But how much is too much? I like playing around with effects. It’s especially fun to play around with pictures that didn’t come out quite sharp enough but can be turned into electronic art. Does that make sense?

I do that a lot too. THAT is what special effects are really good for. If the picture is fine on its own, you don’t neeed to do much.
