The whole congregation comes together once a year at Christmas. Everyone participates, from toddlers to seniors. Singing or preparing food, or supporting their friends and family by being their to show their love. This a community united in their love of Christmas, their church and the music.

I used to sing. I broke my voice about 30 years ago and while I can croak a little, I actually can’t sing for more than a couple of minutes before it goes away. But I still play the piano and a little guitar.

I hum all the time. As my mom did before me. And I sing along with CDs in the car. Just not a public singer π
