I have a radio near my sewing area. My grandkids think it is hysterical that I listen to a ‘radio.’ As far as they are concerned, it falls into the same category with the yellow pages. 🙂
For a while we had only this radio which Garry listens to while he shaves. And of course in the cars. But last year i realized i missed radios and bought 2 more. They are pleasant company😊
Don’t know how old that radio is but it’s 14 years plus. Used to listen to the news while getting ready for the “Dawn Patrol” shift at Ch-7. Now, it’s set to an all-sports station and often functions as background sound with screaming fans on talk shows. If our teams are performing poorly, I don’t turn the radio on. Maybe I should find an oldies music station. Old habits are hard to break.
