GETTING TO KNOW YOU, LA, LA, LA

Share Your World – 2014 Week 7

What is your favorite couch potato activity: readings, watching movies, watching sports, napping, anything on TV, computer games, play cards, or other?

I watch television while using the laptop. I often write when what’s on TV isn’t especially enticing, always with a lot of canine company.

What is your favorite toppings on pizza?

Pepperoni or just a lot of cheese.

What is your favorite genre of movie or book?

Books? Fantasy. Unreality works for me as long as it doesn’t take itself too seriously. Movies? Comedy and thrillers that … you guessed it … don’t take themselves too seriously. I’ll watch or read anything that has a good story, sharp script and wit. I value cleverness.

Do you prefer eating the frosting or the cake first?

I scrape off the frosting and eat the cake plain. Sorry. Don’t like frosting.

    Send your spare icing my way, Marilyn. 😀 Its funny you have a pizza question because that’s what for dinner…in the spirit of always being fair, it’s a supreme, because that is the only pizza that Sam and I can agree on. 😀

      I lost my sweet tooth somewhere along the road of life. Fortunately for what I humorously call my waistline (waste-line?) … I’d send it to you, but it’s so icky in an envelope.

      I like the fresh pizzas with a ton of veggies on it and a few other things … anything but anchovies. Garry LOVES anchovies. He gets his own little personal fishy pizza!

    Pretty much the same as me, apart from the cake icing, which I eat along with the cake. Mmm, cake.
    I also write posts while “watching” (just enough to keep up with the story) TV. It takes me about 10 minutes to write a 100 word flash fiction (already written in my head of course), then I hit the “mute” button for final pre-publish editing so I can concentrate.

    Pepperoni – Yah!
    No favourite genre – fiction through to non-fiction depending on mood (and need to research). 🙂
    I save the frosting until last. LOVE icing.
