Cee’s Black & White Challenge: Found In Nature
Okay, it’s really sepia, but it started as black and white, then I added the toning to give it more of an antique feeling and a bit of warmth. I liked it. I added burnt edges. It could be anytime along any northern river where silver birch trees grow.

Thanks. My surgeon bumped me to next Monday/Tuesday. And anyway, it’s snowing and I’ve got a cold so maybe it worked out as it should. Glad to be able to participate.

I think it is really great in sepia, although I have no idea what the black and white looked like. The effects are very nice. Water reflections are one of my favorite kinds of photographs.

Not so different, but the toning made it a bit softer, which I liked. A bit unearthly. I often do pictures a few different ways, just to see what works, what doesn’t. Learning is trial and error.
