VITAL ORGANS WILL PLEASE REMAIN VITAL

Great Expectations – Tell us about one thing (or more) that you promised yourself you’d accomplish by the end of the year. How would you feel once you do? What if you don’t?

180-Me-5-20-14_11

I’ve promised myself to keep living right through the end of the year. I don’t know if I — myself — would be disappointed were I to fail, but I’m pretty sure at least a few folks would be a bit upset at my unfortunate demise. So I’m counting on lungs, heart and all those other vital organs (including the under-appreciated and oft ignored pancreas) to keep doing their things … so I can keep doing mine.

  2. I recently had 3 dreams that seem to portent my death.
in the first dream I was with some friends – on the other side – wbo were was attempting to help me translate from the physical universe to the inner worlds. Possibly preparing me to go over. I wasn’t quite getting the hang of it, so they left me with a very good friend that I used to live with, who died very recently – to assist me with this. That’s where the dream ended.
When I awoke I surely wondered about the dream ?? We can all die at any moment of course, and I’m not in the best of health to be sure. But I wasn’t really afraid either – just not really prepared to leave just yet. But I still wasn’t certain about all this so I asked for a confirmation – and surely enough I had another dream that seemed to affirm that I would die shortly. Then I had another with similar impressions. Three. ??
In all this I wondered if I should tell my partner? Would it be a good idea?
I decided not – as she has a lot of other worries on her plate right now. Why add to it? So I wrote my Will – again – just in case.
That was about a week ago. So far I’m still here. Maybe I’m not reading those dreams correctly ??I’m usually pretty good at that. But there’s different kinds of death too.
I know I haven’t achieved all I came here for in this lifetime. Probably won’t. I didn’t have the will. The fire – the passion. So maybe it’s time. ?? If I’m not going to make the progress I was assigned to … maybe there’s no reason to hang around?

But it’s a nice Spring day. Think I’ll cut the grass.

    • I used to do divination. Yeah, I know, don’t say anything, okay? But visions and dreams of being dead may mean a lot of different things including the start of something new and very different in your life. On the other hand, if you are having any kind of symptoms that you are ignoring, you may be getting a real message from your unconscious. In which case SEE A DOCTOR. Soon.

      • Geez … I was writing a reply and the whole thing evaporated. Possibly for good reasons ??

Yeah I’ve worked with dreams a lot – over 40 years. They are important – and more than useful. No shame there.

And I usually gets things right – but hope I’m wrong on this one.

Funny – I was just watching Darby OGill and the LIttle people the other day – and the great scene where Darby cheats death and comes back. This always says to me that “nothing is written” – so says Lawrence of Arabia – that we can alter our Fate and Destiny – if we know how.

Down here we often think that’s a good thing to do.

The more I find out, the more I know that I don’t know much.

    • I’m working on it, mostly by taking it easy. Against all my instincts, I am NOT pushing to do everything I used to do. It seems (so far) to be going pretty well 🙂
