    • It’s a lovely area. This is just one spot of many, though it’s one of my three favorites. The dam in the middle of town is another favorite, and that little park down the road just over the RI line is another. All three of them share a critical factor: easy parking and not a lot of hard walking 🙂

      • Oh, I mentioned it in a comment on an earlier post on the same canal, I think. Anyway, doesn’t matter. I do like canals. I did a holiday on a canal narrowboat on the Oxford Canal in UK many years ago and it is still one of my fondest memories.

        • I’ll have to shoot some of our smaller canals that used to connect one mill to another. Many of them are covered with water lilies in the summer. Quite lovely 🙂
