There’s downtown … and then there’s downtown in Hyannis on Cape Cod. Welcome to Main Street. A little bit of shopping, a snack at a sidewalk café on a warm, bright day.

I know I’m weird but I adore the reflections in the windows.

I dunno…to me, looks EXPENSIVE!

Not so bad off-season but definitely expensive IN season. I don’t think we’ve ever gone to the Cape in season. I like it better when it’s less crowded anyhow.

This appeals to me.
Especially the eating.

There are many good restaurants on the Cape. Eating is right up there with taking pictures of other people’s yachts!

Shore towns resemble each other. This could be any one of many towns on Cape Cod, the Hamptons, Martha’s Vineyard, Cape May, the Maine coast — even parts of California. I remember on first seeing Carmel how much it reminded me of Edgartown on the Vineyard. Essence of ocean side tourist mecca?
