CURVING TO THE RIGHT: WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE

Zigzag – This week, share a photo that forgoes the straight in favor of the twisting and winding.

On local roads ...

First they tell you that “the shortest distance between two points is a straight line.” After which they make you go to school where you learn that there are no straight lines on a round planet, so no matter how straight a path may seem, it’s really a curve, an arc, an arch.

Anyway, there’s no challenge in a straight path. Life is all about twists and zigzags. The fun is what you cannot see, the road just out of view.

  1. What a beautiful road, Marilyn; it could have been taken in many of the quiet country lanes near where I live! Great photos. xxx
