  1. It will maybe sound strange to American people, but as a naturalized ciitzen I always feel emotion at the sight of the American flag. Sometimes when I travel through these huge and diverse United States, the only constant is the flag. Great photos, Marilyn.

    • Thank you, sweet Cee 🙂 I had to wrack my brain trying to think if I had anything frayed … in any form of the word. Then I remembered all those American flags with their inevitably frayed edges. Phew. Saved by the flag!
