HALF WAY ROUND THE YEAR: ODD BALL PHOTO CHALLENGE – WEEK 26

Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge: Week 26

72-RI-River_90

A true selection of odds and ends, orphan pictures that don’t fit anywhere, but I like anyway. Nothing more oddball that that!

  3. I was excited at my first werked camping trip with my young sons until we arrived at the sure. It was a carry in site.
The load of cr** I had for those two tottlers, one still in diapers.
It then rained, what a weekend.

    • This isn’t a camp site. It’s a tiny little park. A place to picnic, fish, maybe launch a small boat. There’s nobody to clean up after visitors, so it’s an honor system. If you bring it in, you have to take it out. Which I’ve never thought was unreasonable. They don’t charge you anything to fish or launch your boat … or use the facilities, so cleaning up after yourself doesn’t seem too much to ask, does it?

  4. Love that smoke bush. That is what that is, right? Mom and I planted one at my old house and I never got to see it in it’s full glory, but she also has a huge mature one out front. Fun shrubbery!

    • Yes, it is. They are rare at this latitude. I saw them more often when I lived in New York. We are just a bit too far north, but this was growing down on the Cape and generally they are a bit warmer because of the proximity to the ocean. They are lovely.
