Brevity Pulls

Where do you fall on the brevity/verbosity spectrum?
I can be pretty brief when I choose to be.
Have a good day.

I call fowl! How tricky of ya, Mrs. A… .ahem… we all know a picture is worth a thousand words. 😀

Sometimes, it’s worth even more than a mere thousand! I got lucky with the little robin and caught the wing action. If you look, he had JUST lifted off and is actually in the air. Really, lucky shot!

Thanks! I heard a loud tweet and turned — and there was this robin. Had the camera in hand (yay) … which was fortunate because he chose that exact minute to take off 🙂 Got that wing action, though 🙂

So I will make this a short comment. I just woke up, fell asleep in front of the TV, my iPad fell out of my hands and Mr. Swiss was sleeping. It is not late, just 10 p.m. but my daily routine is completely kaput because the daily prompt did not prompt.

This seems to be a strictly weekend problem. I suspect excessive partying and big hangovers. I wrote mine anyway. It was, after all, only two sentences 🙂 I had to redo the pingback and update the post or it wouldn’t hook onto the grid.

…and the same to you! Also I love the image, cheeky little birdie 🙂

Robins are rather cheeky. They are garden birds and they aren’t afraid of much of anything.

Hangovers from the Friday night party? This always seems to happen on the weekend, so I am suspicious.

Mark Twain, I think, said something similar about long and short books.
Short books can be outstanding and long ones can be too. I guess it’s really the writing that makes the difference, more than the word count.

I used to like epically long books. Now, I’m just as happy in short stories. Shrinking attention span??
