  5. Most of the waterfalls in Yosemite are totally dry this year and many private wells are too. So I easily relate to your current lack of water and hope for rain.

    • Dry river beds and disappearing ponds, waterfalls, and rivers are ugly and frightening, a reminder of how helpless we really are in the face of nature’s wrath. It seems this drought is spreading. Scary scary stuff.
