Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge: Week 33
Around the cabin in Jackman. Garry and his newspaper. The high window by the peak of the roof. Pictures I took because I was holding the camera and I clicked.

Thank you. I started taking pictures more than 40 years ago. I had a boyfriend who was a photographer who gave me his old camera. I found a book of Alfred Eisenstadt’s pictures and I went around trying to reproduce them. I learned an incredible amount by copying his style, figuring out how he made his pictures look a certain way. It also helps to have some amazing scenery to work with 🙂
As for writing, I write exactly the way I talk. I always tell aspiring writers that writing is just talking through the keyboard. Read everything you write out loud. It should sound like someone talking. Like YOU talking.

“The Cabin in Jackman”. Sounds like an episode of “Criminal Minds”.

It’s a lovely cabin. The wall is almost entirely glass and the light is wonderful.
