COILS, LOOPS, TANGLES, AND WIRE

Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge: Week 34

I think every photographer has a few subjects that he or she just loves shooting, but no one quite “gets it.” Except me … and other photographers.

My oddball thing are wires, hoses, knots, rope, and other things that are complicated and twisted. Tangles of things, including roads. There’s no logical reason why I find these interesting to shoot, but I do. And, here are a few!

  2. I used to have 3 external hard drives. Periodically I’d have to crawl under my desk and figure out what’s going on. Hopefully someday everything will be wireless.

  4. You would just love taking a picture of the tangled mess behind my hard drive! I really haven’t messed with the wires back there much over the five years I’ve had this computer, yet it’s somehow worked its way into a hopelessly disorganized mess. It’s a perfect testament to the power of entropy over time…

    • How does that happen. I don’t move the wires. They just lay there … but they seem to get themselves all knotted up anyhow. Pixies???? And the wires BEHIND the desk where nothing and no one ever goes (except dust and dog hair) … how does that get all tangled?

  6. I had to chuckle at your first photo of all the power cords, strip and chargers in your collection. I bet every computer user has a collection like that. I literally have a small cardboard box with my collection of chargers in it. I know I have to dump the box on my bed each time I need a particular one but at least I know where they’re all at. 🙂
