Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge: Week 41
This week, I thought I’d post some of the pictures I’ve taken around the house. Decorations. Lights. Our tiny little Christmas tree from L.L. Bean. I hope you enjoy them.
Tomorrow, it’s time to start the wrapping!

Thank you. We kept it very simple this year. And I like it too. Peaceful, but pretty.

It’s about the same size as my little tree! I took it down from the loft and decorated it yesterday.

It’s about the size of the very first tree I ever had when I first had my own place in New England. But these are actual plantable pine trees, so after the holdidays … and when the ground has defrosted … we will have little pine trees growing. Christmas 2014 will be growing in the backyard for years to come 🙂

Yes, it will be … if I can keep the baby trees alive through the winter. They are not indoor plants, not really. They need a cool environment. It would be easier if we had an unheated but enclosed porch or something, but they’ll have to make do with the dining room french doors and minimal watering 🙂

The tree might be little, not so the hearts of its owners. Merry Christmas and whatnot!

You’ve got my vote. Only a senior would be able to quickly identify Robby The Robot under your tree. LOL

Or a dyed-in-the-wool “Forbidden Planet” fan. That was the first science fiction movie I ever loved. I still love it. And now, Robbie love me. I know. You can press his “talk” button and he will tell you !

For me it’s “Lifeforce” all the way. By coincidence I just downloaded the “Lifeforce” original movie and now have it in my treasured movie collection. As many times as I’ve watched that movie I can’t believe I missed the fact that Patrick Stewart played a major role in it.

Garry notices all that stuff (unlike me). It’s amazing how much movie trivia he can store in his head, but can’t remember whether or not he had a second cup of coffee 🙂

Me too. It is much cuter than I expected. I don’t know what I expected. I just didn’t want to deal with a great big tree and all the decorations and the mess … and this was my best compromise. I’m glad I did it!!

And when I light it all up at night, I feel kind of content and cozy. Goes with holiday movies and snuggling with the dogs on the love seat.
