It’s the day before the day before Christmas. Christmas Eve, Eve, as it were.

christmas wrapping paper

The very last presents are wrapped. All the decorating is done, except for (of course) putting away the paper, putting out the special table decorations. Which I will do today, now that the wrapping is done.

Garry wrapping christmas

Garry only had two boxes to wrap and he insisted he do them himself. I wonder for whom those boxes are intended? Could it be … moi?

By the end of the day, we will OFFICIALLY be ready for the Jolly Old Elf to visit our home. I’m sorry, Santa, we haven’t had the chimneys cleaned in a dog’s year, so it may be a sooty trip. Maybe you should use the downstairs fireplace.

I’m afraid the wood stove will get in your way up here. But I’ll leave you some cookies. And a few carrots for the reindeer. Promise!

  1. Yo, Santa! Please give the furry kids some treats and watch where you’re walking in the living room. Just a warning.

  4. Oh my Gosh, I wish I would be ready. I just closed my workshop an hour ago and I look at a pile of presents I have to wrap. How in the world did that happen? We didn’t want to do lots of presents this year (again) sighhh. Oh well, I know my husband has to work tomorrow until 1 pm, so I declare half of tomorrow “wrapping day”. The we will have an European Christmas evening for me, followed by an American Christmas morning for both of us:-) Merry Christmas to both of you!

  5. Hi Marilyn and Gary,
I got this challenge from the great blogger, Don Charisma. We had to come up with this song in a genera that we don’t normally do. I think he is planning to release it on Christmas eve. So if you check out his web site you should see it there. Although we dedicated the song to Don, we give the gift of laughter to everyone else. If it weren’t for Don we would never have done this song/video.
Merry Christmas happy Hanukkah and Happy New Year to both of you and yours.
    Take care,

  6. A very happy Christmas to you, Marilyn and Garry. Here’s wishing you a wonderful 2015. We’re off to Wales tomorrow, so this is my last chance till Jan (probably) to say all the best.
