Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge: 2014 #26
I thought I’d travel winter roads today. Snow changes the landscape. Sometimes, I don’t recognize familiar paths in the winter. No snow yet this year, though. I’d be just as happy if it stayed not-white!

After our initial snow storm it’s been sane here.
But we’ve still got 2 months to go.

We too had a little bit of snow on Thanksgiving and a couple of dustings since, but nothing which stuck. However — we also have a lot of winter to go. So far, so good!!

In Dallas right now. Yet it is still strange after 10 years having no snow on Christmas. Probably would wimp right out if I lived in it again, to easy to get around these days even with our rain issues at times …seems like a fairy land…

I love New England, but the winters are brutal. If we could sell this place and find someplace to which we could afford to move (and where we’d like living), we would be there.

I love snow, I am a mountain girl. I love sitting at the window looking outside and watch our dogs play in the snow. So far we haven’t had any…BUMMER 😦

I love watching it and photographing it, too. I find it beautiful. I just am at a point in life where shoveling it, slipping and sliding around in it, is not good for me. But we haven’t had any either. I have been hearing this from all over the world … no snow and unusually warm temperatures. Weird.

Yes it is. We had so much snow last year, maybe we will have a mild winter this year. I don’t like it either 😦

Last winter was horrible. The worst I remember, ever. It was not the most snow we ever had or the coldest, but it was relentless and everything turned to ice. It never snowed a lot at one time, but it snowed almost every day. I could use a winter off!!

You definitely captured snow at it’s best. White and beautiful. Glad you don’t have any snow yet. Great entry.

Thank you! Normally, by now we’d be buried. No one has snow (yet) this year, not even Minnesota or Vancouver. Or Chicago! Maybe we will be spared this winter. I love the look of snow, but I could live forever without it melting between my toes 🙂

It looks very pretty but I know it’s not fun trying to get about in the snow sometimes. Do the dogs like it or would they rather stay inside by the fire?

The dogs love it, or at least two out of four love it — Bonnie and Bishop. The other two would just as soon not. Nan has reached an age where she mostly wants to nap, regardless of weather … and Amber strongly favors the sofa as her natural environment. As do Garry and I!

I love Bonnie in the snow. Yeah, that’s blatantly racist. I know. So does Bonnie.

Bonnie says “Black is BEAUTIFUL!” And she means it!
