Ceeβs Which Way Photo Challenge: 2015 Week #4
Given the state of things around here, you expected pictures involving snow, right? And consider that I have the flu, it’s a given that I’m not going far to get the pictures. So here are some pictures from Snowpocalypse 2015.

Wow! Nope I would not have guessed there was a road there, and I think those are cars buried under snow right? Crazy. We got bombed with snow too and the plows didn’t come that night so getting down the road was a trip, but at least we could see the road! Oh and I like the yellow pop of color from that car, nice.
Congrats on being featured for the challenge. π

Thanks. We have another foot and a half of snow coming over the next five days and I’m trying to be optimistic that spring will come soon and everything will melt and maybe I’ll find my missing sunglasses which may be in that yellow car π Thanks again!!

Oh that’s your yellow car!? Do you remember what it looks like? LOL. π
Gosh, that’s a lot more snow to…look forward to…? We’ve got some really cold temps in addition to some warmer 30s. They said the Groundhog saw his shadow so that predicts 6 more weeks of winter. I said well shoot isn’t that already what we’re promised!?
Can’t be too bad now that we’re in March, just hold on. π

If I had some other choice, like cursing the gods and they will make the cold and snow go away, I’d do it. But it turns out, cursing fate, gods, nature, or the meteorologists on television who gleefully tell us about the next storm on the way … it doesn’t help. Not even a little bit. So we hang on. Because what’s the alternative?

Too true. The cold makes me appreciate the warmth more, plus I love to watch the transitioning of life coming back. π
Cursing God would just work against you. π

And I will absolutely appreciate spring! I always do, but now, more than ever.

Wow, that’s a crazy amount of snow! I’m glad the plow finally made it through and I hope you’re feeling better.

Crazy amount and more to come. The plow got stuck and had to be dug out. The actual clearing was done with a snowblower and shovels.

Thank you Cee. I think everyone in New England should get a survivor’s award. This is the MOST snow we’ve gotten in this short a period EVER. And we get a lot of snow!

Take good care and get well fast. That’s not fun to have the flu. Sending you good thoughts.

We are going to stumble out to the car and go to the local clinic. It’s close, it’s covered by insurance, and we don’t need an appointment. It won our medical lottery today.

It turned out, the plow didn’t do it. It got stuck and had to be dug out. My son and a friend did this all with shovels and a snow blower. It was a LOT of work and it’s snowing again today, but lightly.

We just got back from the doctor. We have What’s Going Around, plus we both have eye infections and I have an ear infection. She said “Wow, you guys REALLY have the same thing.” Yes, we knew that π But now we’ve got drugs. Apparently the ear infection might actually go away with antibiotics and I will be able to hear again. Which would be very nice.

The yellow one is gone until spring. The other one is in theory, usable. In theory.

Of course since I know someone who lives near Boston I expect snow pictures. On the national CBSN channel I love the story of the Bostonian that got out and shoveled the finish line to the Boston Marathon. Although a nice mushy tribute that got him on TV he could have started with your driveway. LOL

They started, but got stuck. In the end, Owen and friend dug and blew and eventually, the driveway emerged.

I remember the blizzard of 78 with a fried’s 100 yard driveway 10 feet deep. He paid his farmer next door to plow it clean. The price: one quart of Jack Daniels. π

Well, the guy with the truck and the plow came. He just got stuck and couldn’t get out. It might have been funny under other circumstances.
