Share Your World – 2015 Week #9

How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?

Somewhere between 17 and 1001. It depends on when you ask.

Are you left or right-handed?

Absolutely right. Not even a hint of ambidextrousness. My mother was truly ambidextrous, but I didn’t inherit it. How useful it would be if I were.

If you HAD to change your name, what would you change it to?

Maggie. My not-so-secret identity. I don’t think Maggie has a last name. She is just Maggie. Like Madonna or Cher. One name (to rule them all).

Where do you hide junk when people come over?

I don’t hide things. I put it all on shelves. I call it art. To me, it’s beautiful. If it were junk, it would be gone. I don’t save trash.

  1. I feel about 30.
Until I see that fat old white guy in the mirror.

  2. I have paid attention to the things I do with my left hand, and those I do with my right. I am naturally right handed, but I eat with my left hand… my plate always has to be towards my left side. I’m not sure if I always do this, but I attribute it to years of eating at the computer where I needed my right hand for the mouse. I also shave lefthanded… which I chalk up to the mind game of my mirror reflection making me think I’m actually using my right hand. I have also found that I’m terrible at trying to roll the passenger side window down, because I’m so used to using my left hand to roll down the driver’s side window (Yes, I’m seriously dating how old my car is). I think our mind can overcome any idea of handedness and train itself to favor a certain hand over the other is the circumstances dictate it…

    • We too have a 2002 car and yes, it has manual roll down window handles. On the positive side, the windows and doors never short out and trap you in the car.

You sound like Garry, so you probably, no matter how you explain it, are somewhat ambidextrous or you couldn’t do all that stuff with your left hand. I can’t do much of anything with my left hand. I keep everything on my left because of that nasty habit of eating at the computer, but when I actually EAT, I use my right hand. And that’s why I have a sealed keyboard!

  3. Your bouquet is beautiful. Thanks for sharing this week Maggie.

  4. I can’t do anything at all that demands any sort of precision with my left hand, but my mum is fairly ambidextrous. Weird.
