A Photo a Week Challenge: Live Performance
I love taking pictures at concerts … when they allow it. I don’t use a flash, so I depend on spot metering to get my pictures. This doesn’t always work out the way I intend. Sometimes, it comes out better than I imagined possible … and sometimes, every shot is blurry. This is a gallery of pictures in which the magic worked.

Thanks. I’m trying to get a better camera for doing this kind of shooting, something with a faster lens. It’s hard to find a lens that long that’s also fast 🙂

I’m beginning to arise from my cold. The sun shines and it is such an inspiration.

The great meltdown is beginning. I think I’m coming down with your cold. I heard about computer viruses, but this is too much!

Nice job. A darkened venue is always a challenge. Sometimes a venue that’s too bright can be one as well. 🙂 Thanks for joining the challenge!

This was fun. It also reminded me that we seem to go to concerts only in and around Christmas, but almost never the rest of the year. I never realized it before 🙂 Thanks for being such a gracious hostess!
