One of my new photography students owns a Canon T5i DSLR. She has to go through so many menus and submenus to change anything she misses the shot most of the time. There were very specific reasons I’ve settled in with my Fuji X-E1 and one of them is that I don’t look at menus anymore. They have old fashioned dials and buttons to do everything. Who’d of thunk it? I can actually keep my eyes literally on the subject.

You only do this once. After that, it’s the default way of setting functions. I find it convenient since I don’t change settings much.
