  1. I absolutely ADORE American dinners. They are the French cafes of the American people. I often pick a stop on the road because of a dinner. Great photos, as always.

    • I love diners too. Always have. They are very common in New York, but until recently, had almost disappeared in Massachusetts. They are gradually coming back and I’m very glad. They are my favorite eateries 🙂 Especially the old ones.

    • You’re welcome. It’s a local landmark. I think it’s the biggest neon sign in the county and the oldest. It certainly is unique. I love the old wood booths with 101 years of carving and graffiti. The place is incredibly rich in ambiance. I wish the food was better, but at least it’s cheap 🙂

    • They are undergoing a revival here. A small one, but there are a few nicely restored old ones in the area. I like photographing more than eating there, though there’s one downtown that makes a GREAT and cheap breakfast.
