WRAPPED IN MIST ‘TIL THE SUN COMES UP

Enveloped

The thick morning fog fills the valleys and envelopes the mountains surrounding Peacham, Vermont.

When the sun comes up, the fog will burn away, leaving no trace.

    • Howdy neighbor! Maine? I love meeting the neighbors. They are the only people who are willing to put up with all the whining about the weather. I keep trying to explain — that’s what we do in New England. We politicize everything, then complain about the weather, the weather that we have, had, will have, wish we had, wish we didn’t have. And the Red Sox, who deserve complaining about. Holland looks gorgeous. Our next (maybe last) foray is going to be Arizona and Monument Valley in January, so instead of hanging around up to our hips in snow, we can fly to someplace on earth that is not so cold. That’s our plan! Again, welcome.
