  5. Same here and it looked like you were a week ahead of us. There were very few 50 degree days. It went from ‘winter’ to high 70s.

    It is absolutely gorgeous around here.

    • It’s not so unusual around here to go straight from winter to summer and it can happen as early as April, as late as June. It was all that snow. Twelve feet of snow melted in less than a week and everything bloomed just one week later. Kind of miraculous.

  7. I’ve noticed that too in my garden. I was just thinking “looks like everything that bloomed last year must be dead” and suddenly there’s flowers everywhere!

    • Isn’t it comforting how it all comes round again … even without your help? I find that very heartwarming because all through the winter, I mutter “Spring will come, it will come. It WILL come.” And then, it does.
