Autumn — the season I would happily live in all year round.
Crisp days and chilly nights. Glowing trees and amber light in the evening. Baseball playoffs, pumpkins, and leaves crunching underfoot.
Everyone and everything looks more beautiful in the fall.

I have adored seeing your photos of your autumn. Ours this year has been great too. Now it is winter shots – ah, roll on spring.

I love the look of winter, but its reality sort of sucks.

still enjoying my poppies and waiting for my nasturtians.

I’m not ready either. I need to feel summer for a while. At least another month or two. THEN autumn.

Seeing Autumn colors through your lens is a treat to eyes. Delightful !

It helps when the trees cooperate 🙂 Last year was a particularly beautiful season. They aren’t always quite that spectacular.

I remember being in New York in Autumn and looking towards West and seeing the Autumn colours. that was really something.

Yes, it is something. It makes the rest of the year and it’s crappy weather a lot easier to deal with.

I saw her on a show not too long ago. She had mostly lost her voice, but she looked pretty good. I believe she had a stroke a few months ago, but seems to be recovering (or at least that is what I read).

It was near 90 today, but it’s going up a little each day for the next week. We get heat that isn’t as bad as yours, but we get it with suffocating humidity, so it feels like there is no air at all.

Gorgeous pictures. So beautiful! they have told me about Autum in New England. It must be something really special.

It can be. Not every year is as gorgeous as last year, but it is always the best season in the region.

Beautiful pictures! Say do you guys print and frame some of them? The one landscape pictures, as specially the one with the fog, are great….better then a lot of posters I have seen. They would hang in a frame in my house anytime.

I would print them, but our walls are full of other prints. And framing has gotten so expensive, I really can’t do it. But online I get to look at them often 🙂

Yep. Me too. Love Autumn. Spring is second. Winter third, and Summer a far, far. last.

I’ll take anything but winter at this point, though summer is number 3. It’s the bugs. I can deal with the heat, but not the bugs.

I’m the opposite, I can deal with bugs (except for roaches >>shudder<<), but not the heat.

Probably I can say this because it hasn’t been terribly hot this year so far and it never got very hot last summer. But if the temps go up, I stay IN. Where the A/C is.

I don’t think I would have survived living in the South without air conditioning. I can tell you that right now.

I wouldn’t survive here in the NORTH without air-conditioning!
