TOUCH – SMOOTH AND ROUGH

THE POWER OF TOUCH

Textures are everywhere: The rough edges of a stone wall. The smooth innocence of a baby’s cheek. The sense of touch brings back memories for us. What texture is particularly evocative to you?

I love contrast in touch. The feel of an icy cold glass of water, ice in my hand, silky water, rough stone and brick.

Snow and ice. I don’t have a favorite, except maybe silk.

SHARE YOUR WORLD – 2015 WEEK #46

What type of popular candy you do not like to get?

I’m not a big candy eater. I like York Peppermint Patty, but not much else.

Where do you eat breakfast?

With some low-fat, low-calorie crunchy cookie thingies. They are made by Barry’s Bakery and they are delicious.

They also don’t make me feel guilty. Or fat.

Would you rather ride one of the worlds longest zip lines or bungee jump one of the highest in the world? This will come with a 5-day all expense vacation.

The zip line, when I was much younger and a great deal more agile (and healthy) might have been fun.

I wouldn't mind a trip back to Coney Island.

I’ll skip the zip line and the bungee jumping. Please give the vacation to whoever is actually up for the challenge.

In other words thanks, but no thanks.
