THE EYES HAVE IT

WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE: EYE SPY

Bishop has laser eyes. He uses them primarily to guilt me into giving him my breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner. Or maybe that’s just the way he looks at the world.

I’ve asked him, but he just looks at me and somehow, I’m pretty sure it’s really all about my sandwich.

Or anything else I might be eating. Because when all is said and done, Bishop will eat anything that does not eat him first.

  3. I’ve always loved Bishop’s eyes! Not many animals have bluish colored eyes, so they really stand out…

    • His eyes are rather remarkable, actually. Sadly, Bishop is failing fast. We’ve been nursing him along for months, but his arthritis is bad and he’s losing control of his hind quarters … and had developed some weird antibiotic resistant infection in one of this front paws. I don’t know that he’ll make it through winter or if we should make him try. It’s always a hard, hard decision. When IS the right time?

  4. I just love the expression in his eyes – it shows his love of both you and your sandwich.

  5. I just love Bishop. Those eyes make your heart melt. I don’t know how you can eat in front of him, Marilyn.

  6. I can report that Bishop has the softest fur, the wettest tongue and the most beautiful eyes a dog can have. He uses all this to get his picture taken and a biscuit. LOL
