From Cee:
This week’s topic is Doors and Windows. Some doors have windows in them such as house doors, commercial building doors, garage doors, vehicle doors, bulldozers and trains these are some of what I am looking for. You can all have a solid door with a window being prominent in your photo as well. Both items need to be represented somehow. Be creative.
Doors and windows from Boston, Upton, Uxbridge, Amherst, Williamsburg, and Baltimore.

That little purple shack (top right) is one of my favorite shots from you Marilyn. I even stole it to use as a background on my desktop on occasion. In fact I have a “Marilyn” folder with some of your stuff in it.., the ones I especially like of course. There are some other great ones I’ve not seen before in this collection too. NICE!

I also let that folder act as a slide show screen saver so they will all pass before me if I’m lucky enough to catch them before my display goes to sleep.

That’s “Forge House.” It was first a forge in 1789, then in 1936 became a cobbler’s shop. One of our official historic buildings 🙂 It’s hard to photograph because there’s nowhere to stand where you aren’t going to get hit by a passing car, but it’s a nifty little house.

And creative you were Marilyn…. I love the different POVs you have achieved. Wonderful entry.

Thanks Cee 🙂 It turns out, almost every picture had a door and a window, so I had a lot to choose from.

What a stunning gallery ! The doors are so welcoming, mysterious, colorful and bright all kinds and all designs. I particularly liked the first one, the red cross one and fourth one with a breathtaking landscape.

Thanks 🙂 It’s fun sorting through all those pictures and trying to find the ones that most speak to the prompt. It’s also good to dig through the archives to find things that are worthy of posting again!
