A PHOTO A WEEK CHALLENGE: OPEN
From Nancy Merrill:
Usually, when a photo challenge has a topic of open, it means to post anything you want. However, this challenge is literally open: open cases, open doors, open cans, open anything.
And so I present to you an open bag … and an open door.

Openings almost always leads to the question of what is inside. What is in that bag and what is behind that door.

Yes, opening definitely implies opportunity … unless it’s a manhole, in which case, not so much.

Yes a manhole is less of a question. chuckle.

Opportunity probably required further definition in this case 🙂 Comic opportunity? What’s funnier that watching someone fall down a manhole? Not fun for the faller — but a good yuk from onlookers.

It’s a real ouch situation.

Wonderful openings, Marilyn. An open camera bag presents so many opportunities. And the room inside the open door looks so inviting. Thanks for joining the challenge!

Perfect! I just did “under.” Am I behind a week? I can’t keep up with these. I just do whatever Cee does! Ha. (Really…I get the link from her posting and then enter the challenge. So, if she’s off, I’m off. Or, perhaps I got that one from someone else. Ah well. I think your “Open” just about seals the prompt, though. Good work.

I don’t think it really matters whether you are on or off anyhow. It’s not a contest … just themes. I like them because I’ve got so many photographs, it gives me a focus … and I get to use pictures I may not have even looked at in a long time. Actually, I depend on prompts to help me figure out what to do, otherwise, I am scattered all over the map.
I think I may have missed “under” completely.
