CEE’S BLACK & WHITE PHOTO CHALLENGE: CROOKED AND SQUIGGLY LINES
From Cee: This week’s Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge (CB&W) topic is Crooked and Squiggly Lines. I want to see any line that has more than two squiggles or curves. Anything from plants, trees, roads, made-made items.

Photos two and three remind me of the days of scrambled pay-per view cable channels. “Squiggly” always reminds me of our godforsaken company cheer…

You just reminded me of how many office parties I tried to avoid, but somehow got dragooned, standing there pretending to be having fun. Most of the time, I didn’t know who (if anyone) was being “honored” and I had a long commute and just wanted to go home. AND I don’t drink and those were the days where they served booze — real booze — at office parties. Non drinkers were pariahs.
I don’t really like parties unless it is my party and my friends, but even so, I’d rather spend time with a couple or individual than a group. You can’t really talk to a group. Or, at least I can’t.
Fake cheer. What the world doesn’t need more of!

Thanks Cee 🙂 This is so far, the best birthday present. It hasn’t been off to a grand start, but I’m counting on it getting better 🙂

You are alive and sharing it with Gary and your 4-legged kids and us here on the blogosphere. What can be better than that.

Doing it on a beach watching the sunset with a tall fruity drink in hand?

Cee, I just cleaned up some of those sqiggly lines the furry kids tracked into the house. I keep telling them to wipe their muddy paws. They ignore me.

You should have grabbed a photo of it and submitted it this challenge or odd balls 😀 😀 😀 You two have a great day!

I love black and white trees

Thanks! Those particular trees — ironwood — are ALL squiggly lines. They couldn’t be squigglier (is that a word?) … and the river pix fell out of the computer and said “publish ME … no ME!”

Yep… Squiggly you got!!!

Can’t beat ironwood for squiggliness 🙂

You’d think the word “iron” in the identifier would mean something more than “squiggly”..?

I think the wood is really very hard and extremely heavy. I’m not sure if it floats. I’ll have to look it up. But maybe it’s called “ironwood” because it needs to be ironed? Heh heh.
I checked. Some ironwood floats, most doesn’t. It’s too dense to float.

Sooo.., no boats built of “ironwood” eh?

Nope. Maybe submarines?
