We didn’t have much, but I remembered these and thought they might work. I guess they did. I’ve got so much stuff I’ve never even process. Those carousel pictures are a few years old, but I’ve never done anything with them.
When we come back from a day of shooting I usually don’y look at the photos for a day or two. Then I have marathon sessions of trying to process all the favorite shots. I think I have to get more picky so I spend a bit more time with my wife rather than with Lightroom.
I download them immediately … but sometimes it’s months before I really do anything much with them and some stuff, I’m discovering has been on my drive for a long time — more than a year, sometimes two — and was completely forgotten. I don’t even know what camera or lens I was using. I usually process in the evening on my laptop with the TV on. Garry typically wears headphones when he watches so he can remove his hearing aids — which get uncomfortable by the end of the day. Since I also process HIS photos, he’s always interested to see how they came out. It helps that he takes pictures too. Makes him a lot more patient with the time it takes to finish them.
We don’t watch tv so I’m on my desktop processing and Lynn is on Facebook or reading the news that only irritates her. I feel like we’re isolating ourselves just as much as when we did watch tv. And then, in bed, when I just want to go to sleep, that’s when she wants to talk.
Nice. It is a wonderful place to make beautiful memories. 🙂

Yes, they really were. I LOVE carousels especially, but the Cape is always good, even in the dead of winter.

Thank you. It took a bit of pondering to figure out what might work. Garry’s picture was easy. Mine took more digging 🙂
