MORNING LIGHT – MUNDANE MONDAY CHALLENGE #60

MUNDANE MONDAY CHALLENGE #60

It’s a beautiful, sunny day in our neighborhood. This is a lovely time of day for us, when the morning sun comes through the windows and lights up the deck and the kitchen. Later, there’s will be light on the other side of the house, but these are all in the light of morning.

  2. Love your home. The light, the trees. Who cares if a wooden gate needs to be refinished? That just adds to the charm!

    • Thanks. It’s just that everything needs to be refinished, repaired, replaced, or updated. It is a great location as long as you like trees and harsh winters. It’s lovely, especially in spring and fall. It’s structurally sound. The electricity, plumbing, roof, heating, etc. is good, but all the cosmetic stuff is tired. And getting more tired, like us. I love it, but I sure wish we had the wherewithal to fix it. It was so nice when we were able to keep it in repair. I think this happens to a lot of retired people. You can’t afford to move, so you stay. At least it’s pretty.
