THE PERFECT ENDING

PHOTO CHALLENGE | Cherry On Top

These pictures are all one glorious sunset in Phoenix, Arizona. The color of the sunset was so brightly red that the nearby mountains were red from the reflection of the setting sun.

    • It was like a movie set, but it was the whole world. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many glorious sunsets in such a short period. It was absolutely amazing. A full sky technicolor experience every evening.

  3. I didn’t know mountains could reflect like that. It was amazing to see. The picture looks fake … but it was actually even brighter red than that. Just glorious!

  4. Gorgeous sunset! With a serious fire to the northeast tonight, we are likely to have purple sunsets for the next few evenings!

    • Oops — that should have been northwest! One of the most beautiful sunsets ever was one we watched from the mountains, looking over the ocean (yes, to the west!) with fire smoke from behind us — the entire ocean was purple!
