Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Vibrant Colors
It’s just so bright outside this week. I don’t know if we have reached peak. It’s a bit early for it, but it wouldn’t be the first time the foliage has peaked early.
Vibrant colors? You want vibrant colors? Here are some for you and they are nature’s own, one and all.
And now, a selection of Garry’s photographs. Because we have taken well over a thousand foliage shots between the two of us. With at least another week of full color to come, it’s time to start getting serious about posting pictures.

Lovely photos, Marilyn. Colors have been glorious here and I’ve taken enough photos to last for a decade–haven’t seen a foliage season like this one in decades. Happy Autumn! xo

We’ve also had a brilliant season, but it’s ending rather early too. Still, got lots of pictures. And it was such glorious weather!

stunning, gorgeous colour, I am so envious of this scene you get to live in, one day I hope to visit and capture, sure we have colour here too, but it is not so vibrant and soft; here it is harsh as is the light. Beautiful, but very, very different.

New England is pretty much famous for autumn. Okay, and snow at Christmas. What nobody mentions is that we might also have snow for Thanksgiving … and occasionally, for Halloween. But we can almost always count on a beautiful foliage season. We live for it.

I guess various different areas, have different highlights. For me Christmas means summer and beach and BBQs, a white Christmas would be very strange. I sometimes wish we celebrated Thanks Giving in some aspects it seems more or less commercial than Christmas and I am not religious

It’s actually more than two thousand, but that includes a lot of dupes and duds which I really must delete. Trying (again) to get my act together 🙂

I love this time of year. It is not cold yet but everything is still alive. The trees here are starting to turn colors but not much. But I was so sick of the heat .
Now I have replaced summer with plants like Mums that are red with yellow centers.
I look forward to Trick or Treaters…..

I qm just delighted to have some really great weather! It’s cool enough at night to sleep well, but warm enough by day to wear sandals. It really doesn’t GET better than this.

Lovely! Everything I see here is still pretty green for some reason.

You never know. Trees have their own agenda. Sometimes, we don’t get much color at all. You need a bit of rain at the beginning, than a couple of frosts at night, but bright, dry days. If it rains too much or not enough … or it remains too warm, then you don’t get much color. Sometimes, it’s just delayed. Don’t give up!
