      They are Madame Alexander wedding cake toppers. When Garry and I were married, they asked us whether we wanted a white bride and groom, or a black bride and groom. I offered to paint a white groom black, but Garry reject blackface as a wedding cake option. So we had bells. No people. When i saw these on ebay, I bought a little black boy and a little white girl … in case we ever needed new wedding cake toppers 🙂

    Lovely tiny things and I hope that they are not too tiny to perhaps fall, that would be a shame.

      That’s why all of these live in glass fronted cabinets. Some of the bigger ones live on open shelves, but nothing just sits anywhere where someone can knock them to the ground and break or lose them.

        I think we still have a precious few of the tiny soldiers my Dad brought home from WW 2. I’ll hopefully bring them back on my next visit to the old family home. We used to have more but little boys who shall remain nameless played with them while Dad was at work. Dad was not pleased.
