So much of today’s world is plastic. Modern plastic may not look like plastic. It may look — even feel — like glass, leather, wood, or metal. It’s impossible to remember a world without plastic. However much we claim to despise it, we need it.
The coffee machine (though not the carafe), the bottles, the flower-pot … and the cup in the sink. Plastic.
Most adorable plastic Logitech mouse
Plexiglass sun catcher. If it weren’t plastic, it would have been long since broken and gone to the dump beyond time … Plastic lasts. Maybe though all eternity.
Plastic was a brilliant solution to a lot of problems at one time, and still a very useful, and sometimes only way to go for certain applications. What most don’t realize is that “plastic” is derived from organic sources and so is subject to the laws of nature. While some plastic may take a long time to break down many versions are less robust and begin to return to their component elements immediately upon exposure to the Sun’s UV rays…, and so went Benjamin’s life…
Logitech sells mice in all kinds of designs. Most of them are NOT expensive, either AND they go on sale. Your tall and if you have bigger hands, you might want a full-size mouse. They also make mouses that are also trackball. But throughout the line, they do these adorable designs. I think Logitech was the first and still the best. These mouses never wear out or go bad.

Then how come plastic water bottles will last until the end of time? What do plastic bottle makers know that everyone else is missing?
Poor Benjamin. He missed the boat in so many ways.

Thus “take a long time” comes into play here.., and who knows what the bottle makers have done?

I really think 1000 years from now, all they will find are giant mounds of plastic bottles and aluminum cans. Everything else will be gone.

And the beings, visiting this planet, will wonder what kind of life form these bottles represent. Get out your scanners men!

Okay, I’ll say it. Most of our elected leaders and political wannabees are made of plastic.
