Thanks. I was in a truck kind of mood. It is JUST beginning to get cold here. Tomorrow, the temps will drop down into the twenties and teens. A week from now, there’ll be snow on the ground. The dogs are clipped, I have snow shovels by the doors and a 4-wheel drive jeep. I’m hoping it’ll be a moderate little winter. Thanks again 🙂
I think the terrain is similar. We are all part of the same formation left by the receding North American glacier — about 15,000 years ago. It carved a pretty landscape 🙂
Trucks are interesting. Mr. Swiss was in charge of the truck logistic for Volvo in Switzerland for a few years, so he looked at trucks from a different angle, more technical. There used to be a Swiss truck known as Saurer, many years ago, before my Swiss time, but they had a reputation of beeing very good.
I remember Saurer. You used to — still do, actually — see some of them on the roads. They were the high end of the truck market. Trucks stay on the road a lot longer than cars. They are such a huge investment, owners take good care of them, so even trucks that are no longer made are usually still running.
“TRUCKS ON THE MOVE?” That’s what trucks do…
