It the time of year, I don’t take pictures unless it’s snowing or has recently snowed. Because it’s not awfully visually exciting otherwise. I suppose I’m so used to seasons. I’d have to rethink my photography in a one-season environment.

It's all about the angle

    • We were yesterday, but it’s downright balmy today … well, it’s in the high 40s which is pretty balmy for January in New England. We don’t have the big party until we survive February. Then, time to pop some corks 🙂

  5. Those steps looks awfully steep. Reminds me of some kind of watchtower they had at a park around here when I was a kid. The steps leading up it were extremely steep. Getting up them didn’t seem bad, but going back down……. you may as well have been trying to walk down a ladder without being able to hold on to rungs! That’s a skill I didn’t master until I started working at Mecca and was forced to overcome my fear of ladders…

    • They ARE awfully steep. I will go up them, but if I want to go down, I use the front stairs inside the house. I get dizzy just looking down them. It’s the shortest route outside, but it feels like a ladder rather than a set of stairs. I’m not specifically afraid of ladders, mind you, but my balance isn’t what it was and I have taken a few falls, So I’m just plain careful. Brittle bones and all that 🙂
