EVERY WHICH WAY BY THE CANAL & RIVER

Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge – February 24, 2017

PICTURES BY  MARILYN & GARRY ARMSTRONG

It was a good day to take some path pictures. First time in a while that you could actually see the steps without the snow mostly blocking everything.

These little steps lead up to the top of the passage. You can't see them well in the summer because of all the brush, but it was visible yesterday. The true sign of an old dam.

AND FROM GARRY:

In case you aren't sure, follow the sign. There's a river there!

  4. Isn’t it wonderful to be able to get out again in the fresh air. We now realize how a tortoise feels after hibernation. Great pictures from the other side of the pond.

  5. I think that’s the best shot of the arched bridge that I remember. And I love the little steps to the dam. It looks like a lovely day for a walk along the still partially frozen river.

    • Thank you 🙂 It was strange, the way the river was unfrozen and then suddenly, frozen. I think maybe it was because there is less light further down on the canal … more trees?

I got this camera several months ago — maybe four or five — but this is the first time I’ve been able to take it out and really use it. it lines up the picture so things finally come out STRAIGHT. It’s a replacement to one I’ve had for years that finally had a terminal issue with electronics.
